Hotel Steensel

During the road works on the Eindhovenseweg in Steensel, we are of course still available for our guests!

The 3-star Hotel Steensel is located on the edge of the Brabantse Kempen in Steensel, between Veldhoven and Eersel. De Kempen is a beautiful area with lots of natural beauty and extensive cycling and walking opportunities. The hotel is conveniently located near several highways, and ten kilometers from both the Belgian border and the city of light Eindhoven. This hotel is therefore the perfect base for exploring both the forests of the Kempen and the Cartierheide.

The area surrounding Hotel Steensel is formed by Grenspark De Kempen. Venture out onto the moors, follow meandering streams, wander through the forest, and hike trails that take you across the border. The landscape here is full of stories; on the Cartierheide you walk on land where Napoleon also left his mark. The woods were the site of smugglers, and peddlers with their merchandise used to walk along the sandy paths where riders and drivers can indulge. Follow the beautiful paths along the "Eight Beatitudes", eight villages that formed an important military route during the Belgian uprising: Reusel, Hulsel, Netersel, Wintelre, Duizel, Eersel, Steensel and Knegsel. In the Kempen you will also find several museums that show the local and regional history. For example, visit the Museum de Vier Quartieren in Eersel where you can learn everything about life in the former Brabant.
